Hurray!!! 20 beneficiaries join our project for our education sponsorship programme

It is the time of the year were our Field Work programme is intensified. During this time, our social workers spend extra hours on the streets to identify, recruit, and reintegrate potential beneficiaries into the project. This period usually spans for at least 4 months thus April to July. For the 2021 field work programme, we focused on street connected children located within the Ashaiman Municipality.
Our Field worker came in touch with over 45 children during the period. However, due to resource constraints, we are only able to sponsor 20 beneficiaries unto our education sponsorship programme. The addition of the new beneficiaries would increase our count of beneficiaries to 100.
Just like other beneficiaries, they were mostly engaged in economic activities, child labour and some are trafficked and abused children. We begin reintegration of our target group right from the streets.
